Unschooling, Healing and Decolonizing… With a Built-In Community

The sacred, supportive membership that you've been looking for.

You're ready to do something brave...
Raise liberated kids with love and trust, not control.
But it can feel lonely, overwhelming, and messy as hell when you're doing it without support.

This membership isn’t just here to give you information.
It’s here to hold space while you heal and shift.

Inside, you’ll find monthly trainings, live Q&As, expert guidance, and a deeply rooted community space so you can parent, rest, unlearn,  alongside people who actually get it.

Ongoing, grounded support to help you raise liberated kids without losing yourself in the process.

✨ Start anytime and move at your own pace.

After years in the classroom, I felt like an animal activist working in a zoo. I saw the system up close. I knew how it crushed spirits. I knew I couldn’t put my own kids through that.

So we opted out from the beginning.

And still... the pressure crept in.

The Montessori toys. The Instagrammable homeschool rooms.
The curated nature crafts and themed book baskets.

It's called homeschooling and too often, it’s just school with better aesthetics.

I never wanted that.

I wasn’t doing curriculum, but I was still curating. Still comparing.
Still building our life around outside validation.

And when we “fell behind” on the gentle schedule, I still felt guilt and shame like I was failing at something I never believed in to begin with.

Even in so-called homeschool spaces, I felt alone.
The values didn’t match.
The gentle Christian aesthetics and the masked authoritarianism.
“Freedom” meant something very different in those circles.

I didn’t want worksheets or schedules.
I also didn’t want trad-wife vibes and quiet judgment.
I didn’t want to sacrifice my child’s autonomy or my own needs as a neurodivergent parent.

What I needed didn’t exist...so I created it.

This membership is what I wish I had when I was spiraling between Pinterest guilt, political isolation, and the aching need to do it differently.

It’s not school rebranded.
It’s not a content hamster wheel.
It’s not another right-wing, whitewashed homeschool space.

It’s a place to unlearn systems, shame, urgency, perfection.

It’s a space to heal, grieve, reconnect, and rebuild.

To raise liberated kids while reclaiming yourself.
And to do it in community.

"For any family, but especially for those of us living an unconventional life on the road, Adrienne is an extraordinary ally and guide. Her work is infused with a deep commitment to social justice and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child. I am endlessly grateful for the ways she has enriched our journey.”

This membership is about unschooling, liberation and healing.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Let me show you what it looks like to actually let go and be held while you do.

Feeling like you have to prove your child is learning with projects, schedules, or Pinterest-worthy plans

Quietly panicking because your days don’t look like the curated homeschool reels

Only finding Christian, conservative, or “trad wife” homeschool spaces that don’t share your values

Constantly searching for the perfect curriculum (or nature journal… or wooden toy…) hoping it’ll finally make things feel “legit”

Burning out while trying to meet your child’s needs and regulate your own nervous system without support

Wondering if you’re the only one doing this differently and feeling completely alone in it

Are you Ready To Wave Good Bye To...

There's another way!

This Is What Happens When You Find Your People...

You exhale. You feel seen. And everything starts to make more sense.

“Adrienne, thank you for helping me become the unschooling teacher and parent I have always desired. We are only at the beginning of our journey, but thanks to Adrienne, we’ve watched our daughter thrive in ways we never imagined—exploring their interests, asking big questions, and connecting with people and places in profound ways. The confidence and curiosity they’ve developed are a direct result of Adrienne’s compassionate and holistic approach".

I'm Adrienne

I’m a mom of three, an unschooling parent, a photographer, a virtual assistant, and a Sagittarius through and through, which basically means I’m equal parts fire, freedom, and deep feelings.

I spent eight years as a classroom teacher before everything started unraveling in the best possible way. What began as a quiet pull, turned into a total reimagining of how I wanted to live, parent, work, and exist in the world.

We’ve been unschooling for over 12 years now and it's been liberating. humbling and full of healing.
But let me be clear: it hasn’t been without it's ups and downs.
I burned out trying to be the perfect parent. The gentle one. The regulated one. The thoughtful educator, the all-of-it-all-the-time mom.
Even though I was giving my kids freedom, I forgot to give some to myself.

The breakthrough came when I realized unschooling isn’t about doing more.
It’s about letting go.
It's about deconstructing control, not just with my kids, but inside myself.
I learned unschooling was about my own healing, resting and reclaiming.
Reparenting myself while raising my children in a way I was never raised.

That’s what this membership was born from.

A space where you don’t have to prove anything, perform for anyone, or be perfect.
A space where you can be real and still be growing.
A space where your progressive values aren’t tolerated, they’re shared and celebrated.

I’ve helped dozens of families walk this path. Because I know how lonely it is to do it without support.

This work is deep, messy and sacred and I'm honoured to be a part of this journey with you.

Hey there!

This is perfect for you if:

You’re a progressive or left-leaning parent who believes parenting is political

You’re committed to raising free, emotionally whole, self-directed kids

You’re ready to do the deep inner work...the healing, unlearning, reparenting

You want a community that centers decolonization, justice, and consent

You’re tired of whitewashed, conservative, or “trad wife” homeschool spaces

You don’t want more pressure and to do lists...you want more presence, peace, and support

You’re here for real conversations, not curated perfection

This probably isn't for you if:

You’re looking for a plug-and-play curriculum or school-at-home schedule

You think obedience is more important than autonomy

You’re uncomfortable with discussions around decolonization, systemic harm, or identity

You’re hoping to “fix” your child through behavior management

You’re looking for a religious or politically conservative homeschool space

You're looking for a quick and intense program where someone just tells you exactly how to to things

Who This Is For..

So many great questions! What I teach has far reaching applications for any parent, no matter their situation. I teach about children's rights, decolonization, unpacking beliefs about learning and children, neurodivergence, healing and breaking generational cycles and so much more.
You might not think it's a possibility, but this is where it begins! You might be so drawn to unschool, you move to be in a place where it is legal. You might change careers and downsize to make it a reality. You might realize you can't go another day without taking your kids out of school.
UnschoolingMom2Mom has a great post about the legalities of unschooling here, and the Homeschool Legal Defense Association has the best help here

What if I can't afford unschooling? What if it's not legal where I live?

Nope. You can come and go, engage deeply or quietly observe. The trainings are in no particular order, but touch on all the aspects of unschooling, parenting and more.  There’s no “behind” here, just steady, grounded support for when you’re ready.

Is there a time commitment? Do I have to keep up with content?

Then you're in great company! I'm AuDHD with (at least one) neurodivergent child. This space was built with you in mind. So many of us are navigating this path while learning to support our (and our kids’) unique brains and bodies. This membership centers unpacking neurotypical behaviours and celebrating the beauty of neurodivergence.

What if I’m neurodivergent / my child is neurodivergent?

Many of our members are new to unschooling, or even just curious about it. Whether you’re deep in it, deschooling, or exploring alternatives to school, you’re welcome here and you'll find community and life changing insights and trainings that will support you as a parent at any stage.

Is this just for people who are already unschooling? What if my kids are still in school?

FAQs

Absolutely not. This space is intentionally non-religious, anti-oppressive, and rooted in progressive values, justice, and liberation.

Is this a religious or conservative homeschool group?

No problem. Every session is recorded and added to the library so you can watch when it works for you.

What if I can’t make the live calls?

All ages. We have members with toddlers, teens, and everything in between. This is about how you parent and live, your inner work and relationships with your children, not about a specific academic stage or age milestone.

What ages is this for?
